Ten minutes from town

Just a ten minute walk from the town centre this wonderful view opens out over the reed beds edging the Western Cleddau. A key message from the first walk in the series ‘discourses on the river’ was the need to promote and re-connect walking routes linking the town to the countryside beyond.

Sorting site

The old sorting office, at the rear of the former post office building in Quay street is looking for a new use. Currently this fantastic riverside site is hosting a healthy population of pigeons, and complete with an extraordinary hanging fernery, is one of Haverfordwest’s most beautiful and inspirational spaces.
