As part of the Lab’s place-making programme for Haverfordwest Festival Week, local Mosaic Artist, Maddie Janes facilitated drop in mosaic workshops over 2 days at the Lab. More than 50 people of all ages, including children young people and their families created 25 mosaic fish.

The shoal of mosaic fish are now decorating seven riverside planters opposite the new County Library Development.

The buzz in the room was exciting and the fish worked out amazingly well. It was a pleasure to see cross generation participation and interaction as the fish were completed. The mosaic process proved to be accessible and stimulating even though most people had not done it before. – Maddie Janes
