The Go and see visit to Bristol marked the end of a 15 week intensive research and development stage in the Confluence project. Twenty people from Haverfordwest made the trip to Bristol to explore how, under leadership of George Ferguson, the city’s inspirational elected mayor, Bristol continues to place the arts at the centre of its strategy for urban regeneration.
Follow me by the Danish artist Jeppe Hein – a deceptively simple public artwork engendering multiple perspectives – a good metaphor for the last 15 weeks that have provided a myriad of opportunities for people who live, work and play in Haverfordwest to share their perspectives on the town and inform our stage 2 application to the Arts Council of Wales under the Ideas People Places programme.
